Launching by December 2027 with a mission to serve children nationwide
Angel Paws Foundation was created from a deep passion for supporting children and familiesβand a lifelong commitment to helping others access the resources they need to thrive.
Founder Sarah Stratton has dedicated her career to working with children and individuals in need of support. With a background in psychology and early childhood education/intervention, Sarah has worked in a variety of roles including preschool teacher, school-age lead teacher, and Early Intervention provider. Across each of these roles, one thing remained clear: children with disabilities and their families often face barriers to accessing the support they truly need.
Through her work in early intervention, Sarah saw firsthand how early support can shape a child with a disability's confidence, independence, and long-term outcomes. She also recognized the powerful role that individualized, compassionate support plays in helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Angel Paws Foundation was born from that understandingβalong with a vision to connect children with life-changing service dogs in a way that is accessible, collaborative, and impactful. Rather than training dogs directly, the foundation focuses on building strong partnerships with established service dog organizations to help bridge the gap between children in need and the resources available to them.
Sarahβs approach is rooted in compassion, integrity, and a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through Angel Paws Foundation, she is committed to creating meaningful connections that empower children, support families, and build a future where no child is left without the support they deserve.
